Online dating and online job hunting are pretty much the same thing. You make a profile showing how great you are, and you try to get someone to agree. Why not take lessons learned from designing dating apps, and apply them to a job search?
Unlike other job search apps in which you just put your interests and it shows listings that match keywords, hire.me has you answer a series of questions to algorithmically find the best jobs for you, matching you with an employer and showing why you would be compatible.

Around your profile photo, hire.me shows the strength of your profile in each section: resume, questions, industry choices, job roles, companies. Below this, the algorithm shows what it thinks are your best qualities.
Everyone is different, and finding the right match can be very complex. The question pages allow the hire.me system to quantify personality traits. Rarely will an answer be completely true or false, so each question is on a slider to allow for more precision.
When looking for jobs, there are many different keywords that can be used. You type in the names of the job roles you want, with a long press to mark a preferred role.
Using this algorithm, hire.me matches a potential applicants to jobs based on their interests and preferences, streamlining the search for everyone.
Tapping on the job from the list will expand it, showing the full application details, and allowing the user to apply directly through the app.
